Yesterday, I thought I knew you
Today, I keep thinking what to do

Yesterday, I considered you my friend
Today, our relationship is coming to an end

You knew from the very start
It will cause severe pain in my heart

Stabbing me in my back
Freezing me in my track

Lightning hit me hard and deep
Inducing sadness when I’m asleep

The cruelty of your deeds
Touched my innermost to the seeds

I’ve given it much thought
And withstood the harm you brought

But I still can’t find any reason
That would pull you to this treason
